Planning Storyboard for my Music Video

Now for my storyboard, the average length of each scene would take around 5 seconds each to come together to make 12 pictures and descriptions to encompass the plan shown by the storyboard.

Scene 1

In this scene, it starts out with a mid-shot with several many short shots of the actor getting out of bed. In this shot, the camera mustn't move so it will be recorded as one long shot and cut into shots less than 5 seconds. This sequence will go in time with the music that will be playing. This will come up to about 12 shots being used in the first 5 or so seconds and then a while also being a short shot it would be much longer and have a pan to a door exiting the room. I feel like including an easter egg or something like that in it as something random to give a light and funny feeling in the beginning.

Scene 2

The second shot would also be a wide shot that is composed of multiple clips. In these shots, it will show a different part of the same room but in these shots, it will be the actor grabbing things one would bring to the bathroom like a towel,  shirt, pants, and a toothbrush. And unlike the previous shot, I want to try to include a pan while preserving the same effect. If this does not work however it is alright. The shot will end with the actor walking into a door which will presumably be the bathroom (😲 who would've thought).

Scene 3

In this scene, continuing the pattern for the previous format. The start will have the door open but nothing will come out because it's just opening then the scene switches back to the room from the first and part of the second scene which will have cuts of the actor grabbing clothes but only the hand will be seen. And then attention will be brought to a phone with its screen on and on it would be a message about meeting at 'the place' (Name to be determined). After getting a close-up on the phone it will transition to it being picked up and brought away.

Scene 4

With this being the last repeat of the pattern it has the actor walking out of the apartment and down a flight of stairs. When the actor reaches the stairs the perspective starts at the top and stays there as short clips of the actor walking down to make it seem much faster and when the actor reaches the bottom the camera shifts to outside the door and shows the legs of the actor walking out. After this, the traveling sections start.

Scene 5

In this scene, the actor walks out and walks along a sidewalk past a couple of buildings along with some turns that are taking gradually and not quickly, for turns it should be made more apparent by the small cuts being less gaped at corners and a bit farther on straight ways, and a gate would then start to come into view. And then attention shifts away...(spooky cutoff)

Scene 6

As the gate comes into focus it changes towards the phone that the actor takes out and the phone, on the text messages screen, shows a new text that says "You better not be taking the long way you have to be quick".   The actor would then shake their head as they sighed as if what he read was a bother.

Scene 7

This scene then shows the actor walking towards the gate at a quicker pace. The actor would then make a sharp left turn after opening it and as the actor walked down the path the gaps in cuts start to become larger.

Scene 8

In this scene, it changes prospectively from looking at the side of the actor to the front. The actor then slowly stops at the cutoff of the sidewalk and closes his eyes.

Scene 9

A quick scene change happens and the actor is seen looking over the shoulder over a person but this scene quickly ends with the actor look at their phone to see another text that reads "quickly..."

Scene 10

The actor looks at two different paths with one towards the street and a bush. The actor then starts walking toward the bush in a brisk manner then pushes it aside to reveal a street and starts running down it as if slightly panicked.

Scene 11

The camera watches from behind the actor as he runs down the street. The camera here would focus on his legs as the actor reaches a location. The camera would then switch outwards in order to show the actor turning their head around as if searching for something then walks to a chair and sits down.

Scene 12

In the motion of sitting the actor rises up quickly and looks where they were about to sit and picks up a letter. The actor opens it and it only reads one word: "Help"

I WILL NEVER USE A PENCIL TO DRAW ON PAPER AGAIN... or at least as a way of finalizing a storyboard
Somehow this protagonist can change into a number of forms 👀... interesting
